Today is the federal holiday Washington’s Birthday, though it is widely known as Presidents Day. Thus, I chose today to reveal the artwork for Our upcoming George Washington “Invisible Hand” t-shirt.

At his Inaugural Address on April 30, 1789 George Washington stated:

“No people can be bound to acknowledge and adore the invisible hand which conducts the affairs of men more than the People of the United States.”

I could not agree more.

The shirt will be royal blue, with a light gray figure and signature. The sword, modeled after Washington’s battle sword, will be metallic silver. The font is based on Washington’s own handwriting, except for the second “People” which is clearly inspired by the United States Constitution.
Look closely and you’ll also find a tribute to the Washington Monument.

Artwork inspired by Arnold Friberg’s painting “The Prayer at Valley Forge.”

Fittingly, this shirt will be available for purchase on April 30th, 2016.
